이번에 미국 이민법 바뀌는게 생각보다 범위가 넓네요

* Students below the graduate level would generally be prohibited from changing majors, transferring schools, or changing academic programs during their first academic year, unless a government-authorized exception applies.

* Graduate students would generally be prohibited from transferring schools during their program of study unless an exception is authorized. They would also be restricted from changing their educational objective, such as their major or degree level, during the degree program.

* Students would be prohibited from pursuing a second degree at the same or a lower educational level after completing a previous degree.

다들 아실만한 내용은 빼고 학교에서 보내준것중에 일부입니다.

일단 대학원과중에(프로그램을 끝내지 않고) 다른학교로 트랜스퍼 하는길(지도교수가 학교를 옮기거나 하는 경우에)이 굉장히 힘들어지게 된거같고 박사로 들어가서 중간에 석사 받고 out 하는것도 이민법상 제한사항에 들어가게 되었네요. 이제 중간에 그만두면 그냥 공부한 청년 될거같네요. 또한 깊은 법령 해석이 아직 나오진 않았는데 전공이 달라도 박사->박사나 박사->석사, 석사->석사 같은것도 거의 원천적으로 막히는걸로 보입니다.
