Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Chicago - Tissue Signaling Dynamics group

Son group studies a simplified or minimal model for cell-cell and intra-cellular signaling network in tissue. To facilitate this, we also develop advanced microfluidic platforms to quantify the progress of immune signaling and response dynamics in primary/patient tissue. The device enables high-throughput screening and multifaceted quantification. We combine these experimental results with various mathematical analyses, including but not limited to network simulation, information theory, chaos theory, and deep learning.

PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Bioengineering, or related fields. No more than 2 yr of postdoc experience. At least one first author paper published or in preprint archive (manuscripts in preparation not considered).
