A PhD position is available in the Bowen School of Construction, Center for Urban Built Environment (CUBE) at Purdue University, Polytechnic Institute, United States. https://lnkd.in/gQhe9pqv We are seeking a motivated and self-driven PhD student to join a national laboratory–supported research project focused on developing an integrated digital twin ecosystem for the built environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, computer science, or a closely related field. - Strong research and/or hands-on experience with BIM, digital twins, AI, IoT systems, and LLM. - Strong research and/or hands-on experience with data analytics, computational modeling, and simulations. - Self-motivated and able to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive research forward in interdisciplinary environments. - Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a curiosity for tackling complex, real-world challenges. - Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and publish research findings. - A record of scholarly publications.
