Fully-funded Ph.D. in Extended Reality and Human-AI Interaction at Texas A&M University

SIID Lab is seeking exceptional researchers and students to work on Human-AI Interaction and 3D User Interface Research. Our research agenda encompasses: 1) AI-powered intelligent user interfaces for AR/VR/MR applications; 2) Novel interaction techniques for AR/VR/MR applications; 3) Advancing high-fidelity XR prototyping through generative AI 1. Responsibilities - Develop AR/VR/MR prototypes for user studies - Perform research-related tasks, including user study, research paper writing - Attend weekly progress meeting 4. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or MS degree in Visualization, Computer Science, Information Science, or other related fields - Previous research experience or publications in HCI/3DUI venues - Strong programming skills and practical experience in Unity AR/VR development - Experience with AR/ML libraries and back-end development is a plus Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative on projects 5.
